According to Coursera, Data Visualisation will be one of the fastest growing jobs in the future. There are many pathways and opportunities from entry-level to a consultant. Look carefully at Power BI & Tableau jobs on job search websites. Power BI and Tableau roles often ask for strong Microsoft Excel, SQL (Stuctured Query Language) and sometimes a requirement for Python too (a programming language often used for Data Analysis/ Data Science). In addition, many Power BI roles ask for DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) knowledge. More advanced jobs would require knowledge of data modelling, data architecture, data lakes and data warehouses.
