The Microsoft Power Platform is a set of business applications that enables you to analyse data (Power BI), build portals (Power Pages, formerly Power Apps Portals), automate processes (Power Automate, formerly Microsoft Flow), build solutions (Power Apps) and create chat bots (Copilot, formerly Power Virtual Agents) using low code tools.
This low code platform does have its limitations however and therefore connectors and coding can be used to extend the applications’ capabilities. So bear in mind that to be a Power Platform developer, recruiters often require you to know at least one programming language (i.e. C, C++, C#, Python, Java etc.).
